At My Leisure.

day-to-day.

Nothing like the sight of pumpkins and Halloween candy at the grocery store to remind you that Summer is coming to an end.  I can’t believe it’s almost October, and I’m now three months as a San Diegan.  It’s funny, in a nauseating “roll-my-own-eyes” kind of way, when cliche sayings actually hit home.  Time flies when you’re having fun.  It has been an amazing Summer.  Exploring a new city and state is sort of like being on vacation – – all the time.  Everything is new.  There are endless first experiences, first sights, first visits, first meetings.  It’s kind of an indefinite free pass to leisure living, and I’m enjoying every minute.

Before you think I’m completely blowing smoke up your, ahem… nose,  I will admit there are a few tough things about moving.  Getting lost (a lot) is one of them.  California is sewn together with endless freeways and highways, and I am giving full credit to my iPhone as the reason for arriving at my intended destinations.  Eventually.  It’s good for me though; in the same way that a parent tells their kid about any lesson learned the hard way.  Story of my life.

Here’s a hodgepodge of life pictures since I shared last.
